Celina has many credits to her name. At the young age of seven she had already participated in the Little Miss America pageant and was in a Carnation print ad for Costa Rican publications. By the age of twelve she was singing on Mexican television and radio.

Celina grew up on a working ranch in Malibu Canyon, and when she wasn’t busy practicing her singing, she could often be found riding her Appaloosa bareback through the Calabasas hills.

As a member of the comedy troupe “More Salsa Please”, she spent 3 months at the Comedy Store in Hollywood and appeared on the national TV show “Comedy Compadres” filmed at Universal Studios.

Baseball fans at Angel Stadium in Southern California were three times treated to her rendition of the National Anthem as well as at the LA Sports Arena for the Clippers game the night the First Gulf War began.

Los Camperos, the award winning mariachi band who appeared on Linda Ronstadt’s 1987 milestone album, Canciones de Mi Padre, accompanied Celina at the Biltmore Hotel. She has also performed solo at the Anaheim Convention Center.

She now calls Santa Cruz, California, her home and there she has appeared at the Attic, The Ku'umbwa, The Crepe Place, The Catalyst, Bocci's Cellar and at the Rio as a key member of Rhan Wilson’s "An Altared Christmas-Live" production. She displays great versatility as she sings in English, Spanish and Hawaiian. Celina, solo or with her band, the CMonkeys, entertains at private parties and special events. Her kid tested and parent approved “Auntie Aloha” character accents any children’s party with an island flavor.

Some satisfied customers say:
“Celina brings a vibrancy to any gig -- be it a backyard party or a corporate event. She's a professional who shows up on time with all the necessary equipment and a huge accommodating spirit. On top of it all: what a voice!”
– Susan Duggan, President, Smart World Center

“Celina and the CMonkeys helped to make our event special - it would not have been the same without them.”
– Jackie Calhoun, Heartland Hospice
